OPEN/Metis is an integral, object-oriented software development framework. Using OPEN/Metis, your software development projects are more likely to yield high-quality results on time and on budget.

OPEN/Metis:

Is integral because it covers most tasks necessary in software development projects. OPEN/Metis integrates traditional activities such as "analysis" and "design" together with often-neglected ones such as user interface design or deployment planning.
Is object-oriented in the sense that it builds around the concepts of class and object. OPEN/Metis is strongly related to the OPEN Process Framework, which is itself object-oriented.
Is intended for software development, especially for the design and construction of information systems and business applications.
Is a complete framework, including a metamodel, a ready-to-use methodology, a set of rules and guidelines to customise and extend the methodology, and a collection of resources and additional materials.

Our participation with the OPEN Consortium backs the quality of OPEN/Metis and guarantees our support of the OPEN Process Framework.
